Please complete the following details for the appropriate number of contributors for your session proposal. 

Sessions with panel discussions may be limited to a maximum of four speakers (Plus the session chair) where possible to better encourage a more engaging and interactive session within the permitted time. Please be mindful of this when submitting your session proposal.

Note: Please name your session "chair" or "facilitator" in the section immediately below titled "Contributor Number 1". Every subsequent contributor thereafter will then not be considered as the session chair, but as a contributor.

We will contact all contributors listed below. Please ensure that they are provisionally able to attend the whole conference, are able to pay the contributor rate (50% discount) and are willing to contribute to the session.

Full session proposals

Please note that we may ask contributors to report back on the outcomes of the session in which they are participating. 

In your submission, please include the following:

• A brief introduction to set the context 
• Key questions and any potential tensions or debate on the issue
• The relevance to world leaders of international education
• The relevance to this year’s conference theme
• If launching new research, please outline the global relevance, the contribution to knowledge creation and the impact potential
• Key takeaway messages and who the proposal is aimed at (what will delegates gain from your proposal). 

Contributor consent terms

I hereby:

• agree to the British Council photographing and/or recording me and give permission to the British Council to use any material in the photographs and/or recordings where the copyright or any other rights are owned by me;
• confirm that the British Council shall be entitled to use, free of charge, the photographs and/or recordings made of me (without having to identify me by name), in their original format or edited, adapted or altered, for the purposes of the British Council’s internal and external promotional and publicity materials and for any programmes, publications, websites, electronic publications and social media services worldwide produced by or on behalf of the British Council; and
• agree that the British Council shall be entitled to pass the photographs and/or recordings of me, and my name, to external press and media agencies, publishers and broadcasters, and to partners and other third parties with which the British Council works, anywhere in the world, for the purposes set out in this Consent Form.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, for which we may charge a fee, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. Data Protection

British Council will use the information that you are providing in connection with processing your application. The legal basis for processing your information is in agreement with our terms and conditions of application (contract).

British Council complies with data protection law in the UK and laws in other countries that meet internationally accepted standards. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. If you have concerns about how we have used your personal information, you also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.
