British Council - Zhejiang Scholarship Application 2017/18

The British Council - Zhejiang Scholarship is for UK students (British passport holders, or Irish passport holders for Northern Ireland domiciled) to undertake a period of study at a participating university in Zhejiang province, People’s Republic of China for the 2017/18 academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • UK citizens (British passport holders, or Irish passport holders for Northern Ireland domiciled)
  • Enrolled at a UK institution at the point of application or a recent graduate (applying within one year of your graduation date)
  • On track to receive or have achieved a 2:1 grade at university
  • At least 18 years old

Deadline

Applications should be received no later than 16 April 2017 at 23.59 PM (UK time) . Applications received after this date will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified by the British Council by the end of May 2017.

Document Check-list

All applicants must provide the following documents in support of their application for a Generation UK-China academic scholarship:

  • British Council – Zhejiang Scholarship online application form
  • Most recent academic transcripts (or degree certificate)
  • Two academic references (referees should be from your current university)
  • Passport scan
  • Curriculum vitae

Please note: references should be scanned copies of the actual reference letters, including university letterhead and signature of the author.
