British Council China Scholarship 2018/19

The British Council China Scholarship is for UK students (British passport holders, or Irish passport holders for Northern Ireland domiciled) to undertake a period of study at a university in the People’s Republic of China. This application form should be completed in conjunction with the China Scholarship Council’s (CSC) application form. For more information, please refer to the application instructions available on the CSC website.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:

UK citizens (British passport holders, or Irish passport holders for Northern Ireland domiciled)
Enrolled at a UK institution at the point of application or a recent graduate (applying within one year of your graduation date)
Achieved or on track to achieve a 2:1 degree
At least 18 years old

Deadline

Applications should be received no later than 29 April 2018. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified by the British Council at the end of May 2017.

British Council China Scholarship Application (Online submission and 2 x printed copies sent to CSC)

Most recent academic transcripts (or degree certificate) (Online submission and 2 x printed copies sent to CSC)
Two academic references (referees should be from your current university) (Online submission and 2 x printed copies sent to CSC)

Curriculum vitae (Online submission)

Please note: references should be scanned copies of the actual reference letters, including university letterhead and signature of the author.
